Lucy Page Chesnutt, Esq. - Attorney and Owner

Lucy Page Chesnutt, Esq. received her J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law.

After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Environmental Studies Lucy Page moved to Bozeman. As a twenty-something, she explored the Northern Rockies and built community through her work as a Spanish interpreter with Community Health Partners, environmental educator with the Montana Outdoor Science School, a lift operator at Bridger Bowl, and field research technician with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. She met her husband and adopted her first dog, and then chose to pursue a law degree.

Following law school, she began working with farmers and ranchers in Oregon on water rights issues. She realized that not only did farmers and ranchers need natural resources counsel, but they needed estate planning counsel in order to help faciliate the transfer of assets from one generation to the next. In this space, proactively problem solving at the often complicated nexus of assets and family dynamics, she thrived.

She founded Evergreen Law Group in 2021 with the mission to provide an informative and compassionate space to help educate and empower all individuals in their estate planning process. When not working, she enjoys spending time outside with her family, friends, and doggies, Hazel and Pearl. She is licensed to practice law in Oregon (inactive) and Montana.
